FollowPay (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Follow Pay mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. By using FollowPay, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and profile
- Email address, display name, username, profile photo.
- Firebase user ID (unique account identifier).
- Account creation date and account status.
- Message privacy preference (whether you allow incoming messages).
- Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we do not store your password in plain text.
1.2 Wallet and transactions
- Diamond balance and transaction history.
- Deposit records (payment status, amounts, third-party payment IDs).
- Withdrawal requests and payout wallet details you provide (wallet address, network, account holder name).
- Referral relationships and referral earnings.
1.3 Social accounts (for tasks)
When you link accounts to complete tasks, we may store:
- Platform type (e.g. Discord, X/Twitter, Telegram, Bluesky, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
- Linked usernames/handles and profile URLs.
- OAuth tokens or session data needed for task verification (where applicable).
1.4 Activity and usage
- Tasks you create, complete, or are assigned.
- Daily streaks, trophies, leaderboard rankings.
- Public profile stats (e.g. tasks completed, referrals, lifetime diamonds earned).
- In-app search queries (e.g. finding users to message or transfer diamonds).
- Notification preferences.
1.5 Messages and support
- Direct messages between users: message text, sender/receiver IDs, timestamps, read/delivery status, reply metadata.
- Support tickets: your user ID, email, subject, category, messages, and status.
- Reports: reported user ID, conversation ID, and your report description.
- Block lists and hidden/deleted conversation data.
1.6 Device and technical data
- Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Device type, operating system, app version (for support and security).
- App analytics: screen views and session duration (Firebase Analytics).
- Local storage on your device (e.g. cached messages, language preference).
1.7 Advertising
We use Google Mobile Ads. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to show ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the app (auth, wallet, tasks, chat, support).
- Process deposits, transfers, and withdrawals.
- Verify task completion on third-party platforms.
- Send push notifications (tasks, messages) when you allow them.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- Respond to support requests and user reports.
- Improve the app and fix bugs.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on your region, we process data based on:
- Contract Performance: To provide the services you request.
- Legitimate Interests: For security, fraud prevention, and app improvements.
- Consent: For push notifications and other optional in-app features.
- Legal Obligation: To comply with financial logging and moderation mandates.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only with the following service providers:

5. Data Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active.
- Messages: retained while needed to provide chat; may be deleted when you delete chats or your account.
- Payment/withdrawal records: up to 90 days after account deletion where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or law.
- Backups: may take up to 30 days to purge from routine backups.
- Support tickets: retained as needed for support and moderation.
6. Security of Your Data
We use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and industry-standard security practices on our servers. However, no method of digital transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or restrict processing. You can manage these settings directly in the app:
- Account Deletion: See Account Deletion.
- Message Privacy: In the app → Messages → Settings → control who can message you.
- Block Users: In any chat → options → Block user.
- Notifications: Disable in device settings or app notification preferences.
8. Children’s Privacy
FollowPay is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact FollowPayOfficial@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We use appropriate standard contractual clauses and safeguards to ensure your data is secure.
10. Third-Party Links
The app may link to social platforms and payment providers. Their privacy policies apply when you interact with their services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will modify the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may be notified in the app or by email where appropriate.
